Police continue to investigate how an explosive device got on a car in Magoffin County Monday night.
Officers say someone reported a bomb was in a Ford Bronco in a shopping center parking lot. Police say the SUV belonged to 33 year old Randy Back who worked in the shopping center. The bomb squad diffused the device, but are still investigating how it got there. They have made no arrests.
"The Kentucky State Police is following leads in multiple counties today, following leads, investigating throughout the end, trying to get to the truth of our incident last night with the explosive device," said KSP Trooper Scott Hopkins.
The area around the explosive device was evacuated, but everything was open Tuesday.
