Couple Wants To Help Eastern Kentuckians

A couple who used to be homeless is helping to build a shelter in hopes of helping eastern Kentuckians in need get their lives back on track.

Jake and Patsy Dietrich lost not only their home, but everything they owned in Jackson, Tennessee when a tornado hit in late 2003.

The Dietrich's say they struggled for several years trying to get back on their feet.

Since August of 2006, they've volunteered at the Emergency Christian Ministries shelter in Williamsburg.

Now, they are directing the construction of a new homeless shelter in London.

The Dietrich's hope to open the homeless shelter in June.
