A Floyd county bank officer and eight others have been indicted in an alleged cocaine distribution ring, allegedly involving Pamela Justice, a former campaign finance director for Greg Stumbo and Johnny Ray Turner. Justice and her boyfriend, Darrell Triplett were indicted on federal drug trafficking charges last year.
The US attorney's office says Tina Mills, an officer at the First Guaranty Bank in Martin helped Justice with the funds. The indictment says Mills conspired with Justice to illegally transfer property and money before the government could seize them. We contacted mills and she said she had no comment.
Also indicted were Timothy Neal Howard of McRoberts, Roy Branham of Whitesburg, Terry Branham of Van Lear, Stephen Randy Gearheart of Prestonsburg, Steve Tackett of Virgie, Loucilla Thornsberry of Virgie, Johnny Michael Castle of Paintsville, and Mica Patrick of Saylersville. The indictment says they each helped distribute cocaine.
