Candidates For Agriculture Commissioner Debate Tonight

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Candidates for Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner are scheduled to debate on statewide television tonight.

Kentucky Educational Television is scheduled to air two live debates tonight starting at 9 o'clock. One for Republicans, and a second for Democrats, seeking their parties' nominations in the May 22nd primary election.

Don Stosberg, a Republican challenging incumbent Commissioner Richie Farmer, will appear in the first debate for 15 minutes. A KET spokeswoman says Farmer is not scheduled to participate.

Meanwhile, Democrats David Neville, of Pleasureville, and David Lynn Williams, of Glasgow, will appear starting at 9:30 pm.
