A Southeastern Kentucky community is one step closer to getting a horse racing park.
London city officials tell us Sprint Racing Partners, LLC will be presenting an application for a racing license. The presentation will be at the racing commission's offices in Lexington.
The group is trying to get the last available license in the state. The track would have live racing for about 13 days a year and simulcast other race.
The group says it would not conflict with the Red Mile in Lexington.
