Arrangements Made For Soldier Killed In Accident

Arrangements have been made for an Eastern Kentucky soldier who died in a motorcycle accident after serving in Iraq.

State police say 22 year old Pete Mullins of Lejunior died in the accident Tuesday afternoon.

National Guard officials tell us the visitation will be held Thursday and Friday at 6:00 pm each night at Shields Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm also at the church.

The military says Mullins was a National Guard soldier who served in Iraq for about a year before returning home last summer. He was on leave from Camp Shelby, Mississippi where he had been training soldiers preparing to go to Iraq and Afghanistan.
