Police Investigating After Items Stolen From Expo Center Dressing Room

Rockers ZZ Top are missing some jewelry and other valuable items after their concert at the East Kentucky Expo Center last week.

Pikeville Police say they were stolen from their dressing room during the concert but aren't releasing any other details. The Expo Center managers had no comment because of the investigation. Local fans and county officials say they're mad someone would do this to a band on their visit to Pikeville.

"I was upset, very, very upset that they did that to one of the greatest bands ever existed," said Jerry Hall.

"On behalf of all people in Pike County, we're sorry this happened to them and we hope they come back," said Pike County Judge Executive Assistant T.J. Litafik.

If anyone has any information on the theft, please call Pikeville Police at 606-437-5111.
