Police Looking For Robbery Suspect

Police in Pike County are on the look out tonight for an armed robbery suspect they believe is responsible for robberies in two states.

It all started Tuesday evening when a man with a pipe robbed the Three Way Autobahn Gas Station in Shelbiana in Pike County. About an hour later, the Pike County Sheriff's Office says a man in a vehicle matching the description from the first robbery then robbed the Laurel Shop in the Breaks Interstate Park. Earlier tonight, the Pike County Sheriff's Office says they were notified by the Buchanan County Virginia Sheriff's Department about a robbery at Paw Paw Grocery by a man matching the description of Tuesday's robberies. The sheriff's office says the same man then attempted to rob Jack's Hurley's Grocery Store in Stopover around seven tonight, but the store owner pulled a gun and the suspect left the scene.

Police are looking for an older model white S-10 Blazer with a stripe on the side and extensive front end damage. The blazer has Virginia tags.

Anyone with information should call the Pike County Sheriff's Department.
