Harlan County Man Arrested For Impersonating An Officer

A Harlan County man is in jail after police say he pretended to be a U.S. Marshal and held four people at gunpoint.

The Harlan Daily Enterprise reports that a 14 year old girl was among the four that 57 year old Thomas Corbin allegedly held at gunpoint on May 19th. Corbin is accused of also stealing an ATV and a pistol from one of the victims.

Corbin was charged with impersonating a peace officer and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center.
