Teacher Accused Of Sexually Abusing Two Students Pleads Not Guilty

A Wolfe County teacher accused of sexually abusing two of his students says he's not guilty.

Robert Brewer entered the plea Friday in a Wolfe County courtroom. Brewer is charged with sexually abusing two students in his third grade class at Campton Elementary. The indictment says the alleged abuse happened in Brewer's classroom.

Thursday in court, one of the victim's mother’s told us this alleged abuse has destroyed her daughter's life.

Parents were upset that brewer is on paid suspension, but school officials say it is standard procedure during an investigation.

Brewer is not in jail and will be back in court in July.
