Former Circuit Judge Expected To Plead Guilty To Mail Fraud

A former Perry County circuit judge is expected to plead guilty next week in a federal mail fraud case.

Doug Combs is accused of submitting fraudulent bills to a state agency to get money for himself and others.

Combs also allegedly hired temporary workers to free up his regular office staff to do personal work for him.

Combs resigned in 2004 while facing misconduct charges.

He's been battling health problems recently
