A mother is asking for your help tonight in finding her son. It's been three weeks since 27 year old Travis Wilson was seen in Middlesboro.
Several agencies began an all out search for Wilson over the weekend after his car was found, but there's still no sign of Wilson.
Mary Wilson hasn't seen her son Travis since May 24th.
"He had a doctor's appointment to go to on Friday the 25th and his dad looked for him in the den where he slept and he was not there," Wilson said.
Three agonizing weeks later on Saturday, someone on a four wheeler spotted Wilson's green Toyota Camry at the end of an ATV trail on Fonde Mountain.
"Very emotional time. We discovered his car thought that he might be there, somewhere in the area," Mary said.
But the car was abandoned and those searching the surrounding area with dogs say they've found nothing.
"It's very imperative we find him. He may not have anything to drink or eat and with the heat," Wilson said.
And Travis is paranoid schizophrenic and it's been over three weeks since his daily medication.
"He must be in a very disoriented, depressive state at this time," she said.
Mary says she misses going to church with her son Travis.
"I need him back. I miss him too much and I need an answer," Wilson said.
She's hoping anyone who might have recently seen Travis will call police. Meanwhile, she's trying to stay strong while she waits and hopes.
"Pray for Travis and my family. Bring him back home to us safely. He's a wonderful, wonderful boy," Mary said.
Middlesboro Police and the Bell County Sheriff's Department are investigating. You are asked to call Bell County 911 with any information concerning Travis Wilson. That number is (606) 337-6174.
