Flooding is a major concern today across Eastern Kentucky as rivers continue to rise after the heavy rain and snow melt of the last few days. Now as the rain has transitioned to sleet and snow roads will become treacherous and ice covered. Flood Warnings and Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for most of the day. A Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Harlan, Letcher and Pike counties has been allowed to expire.
The cold temps aren't going to budge any at all! Overnight lows will drop off into the teens tonight with wind chills in the single digits again.
