\The Winter Weather Advisory for the remaining counties in Eastern Kentucky was cancelled Saturday morning
We will continue to see some snow out there for the first part of the weekend, but it should start to taper off soon.
Once the snow goes away, the bitter cold will set in. We'll only see daytime highs in the teens and overnight lows in the single digits this weekend. The wind chills will make it feel way below zero out there at times.
Remember, frostbite is a definite possiblity when wind chills get that low. Make sure you take the proper precautions when being outside and take care of your pets and the elderly.
This weather could also be cold enough to burst water pipes, so keep that in mind as well.
The end is near, with 30's and 40's in the forecast next week, so just hang on a little longer!
