Midway College to bring pharmacy school to Johnson County

Midway College plans to open a pharmacy school in Paintsville.

College officials, community and government leaders will make the official announcement Monday at Johnson Central High School.

Officials say the school will be temporarily housed on the Big Sandy Technical College campus and will enroll up to 80 students per year.

The new school is also expected to create 100 new jobs.
