PIKEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The Humane Society of the United States
says it is offering a $2,500 reward to help find who is responsible
for injuring two dogs found in the same eastern Kentucky county on
the same day.
In a news release Friday, the Humane Society said the two dogs
were found Monday in separate incidents in Pike County. One dog had
been shot in two legs and the other was seriously wounded by an
arrow.
The release says the dog shot in the legs is in critical
condition and the dog shot by the arrow is in serious condition.
The Pike County Sheriff's Office is investigating both cases, and
both dogs are being cared for by rescue groups.
