It's called Daniel's Care Day and people in Hazard had a good time Saturday morning telling others what the event is all about.
Event organizers brought hillbillies, clowns, and even a magician to Hazard Saturday morning. All this is to help raise awareness for Daniel Cares, an organization that offers help for children with diseases and terminal illnesses.
"It's just a wonderful day and my hope is that this continues and goes on year after year starting today," said Event Organizer Roy Dubash.
"We always desperately need volunteers, someone to play chess with the child, maybe someone who can do lawn care for a family," said Candy Combs, Event Organizer.
Organizers say you can find ways to help by calling 1-800-560-1101 or visiting http://www.hospicebg.org.
