A Pikeville High School junior accomplished something only several hundred students around the country achieve each year.
Shikha Sachteva got a perfect score on the ACT
She took the test in December and just recently got her results back, a 36, the highest possible score.
"I think its really cool. It will definitely be a really good part of my resume, so pretty excited." Sachteva said.
"I think it's just a great think, a great accomplishment. It's a testament to her work ethic and the preparation she put into this, not just this year, but the many years she's been in school." Royce Mayo, the Principal of Pikeville High School said.
She wants to go to college at either Duke or Brown and wants to be an orthopedic surgeon.
