A Pike county woman watched part of her house crumble to the ground during a mudslide in April.
Now a group of parishoners from Maxwell Street Presbyterian Church IN Lexington are rebuilding Nell Hatfield's home.
The volunteers heard about what happened to hatfield from church officials, and ten of them decided to spend a week here to lend a hand...and a hammer.
Hatfield says simply going to church answered her prayers.
"There have been so many miracles that have occurred since then and this is one of them. The fact that the folks are here from Lexington is just nothing short of a miracle."
Hatfield has been living in an apartment since the mudslide.
She was offered to stay there from someone at her church.
