Man Pleads Not Guilty To Animal Cruelty Charges

A Somerset man accused of a disturbing animal abuse case pleaded not guilty to charges Thursday.

Investigators say Ronald Turner, 30, beat his dog, Romeo, even slamming a dog house on top of the animal.

Police released pictures from home video taken by Turner's neighbor.

Investigators say the video captured the alleged abuse as it happened, calling it one of the worst cases of animal abuse they've seen.

Romeo is now recovering at an animal shelter.
