Two parents accused of smoking meth in a car with their baby in the back seat went before a judge for the first time.

Anitta Hall and Dennis Perry pleaded not guilty Friday morning in a Laurel County courtroom.

Sheriff's deputies say they found Hall and Perry passed out inside their car on Adams Road.

Both are due back in court on Tuesday.

The baby remains in protective custody.
