Small Plane Crashes In Pulaski County

SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) - Officials in southeastern Kentucky say the
pilot of a single-engine plane has been found dead after the plane
crashed.

Science Hill firefighter Kenny Shepherd says the plane appeared
to have gone down almost nose first.

The pilot has been identified as 60 year old Thomas Frank Kaiser of Rockwood, Tennessee.

No one else was aboard the plane.

Officials are looking into the possibility that Kaiser may have had a medical problem before the crash.

Firefighters say the crash happened at about 6:20 p.m. EDT today
in a wooded area in the Science Hill community north of Somerset.
