Two Arrested In Connection With Several Church Burglaries

Police make two new arrests in connection with several church burglaries in Jackson County.

Thursday, sheriff's deputies arrested Tia S. Gilliland and Gerald Anderson, both of Jackson County, and charged each with receiving stolen property. Police say the two were part of a "ring of thieves" that burglarized four Jackson County churches and at least one home and also stole a car.

Last week, police arrested Christopher D. Grubb of Clay County and they say at least two others are still on the loose.
