One Eastern Kentucky academic team brings home a state title for the fifth year in a row.
Johnson County Middle School received first place at the 25th Annual Governor's Cup in Louisville.
Team members say the achievement comes after lots of hard work, including two hours of practice every day after school.
"You can't really explain it in words, what it feels like to be a state champion. You work so hard, and you give your entire life and your dedication for a whole year and when you accomplish that, it's a feeling ... you can't explain it," says Yasmin White, an 8th grade team member.
The school sent 25 students to the state competition.
