Crude Oil Spill In Bell County

Environmental protection agency officials are on the scene of a crude oil spill in Eastern Kentucky.

A cleanup is underway in a small creek in the Ingram community of Bell County, that's just off Highway 92 near Four Mile.

Emergency management officials say a pipe near a crude oil well started leaking earlier this evening and it's now flowing into a small creek nearby.

Officials say they're working to contain the spill and at this time, they don't expect it to affect any drinking water.
