Fletcher Appoints New Member To Public Service Commission

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Governor Fletcher has appointed a
Louisville attorney to the Public Service Commission, the panel
that oversees utilities in Kentucky.
Fletcher appointed Caroline Pitt Clark to the three-person
panel, and labeled Commissioner John Clay as the commission's vice
A statement from Fletcher's office says Clark is an attorney
with the Louisville law firm, Landrum and Shouse.
Clay is an accountant and has been a member of the commission
since last October.
The P.S.C. regulates and oversees more than 15 hundred
