It's that time of year when parents and students are gearing up for back to school, but have you thought of everything? There's more to think about than getting the coolest school supplies and picking out the right outfit.
It's that time again, time to get back to school. Enthusiastic about hitting the books or not, students in Leslie County will be going back to school August 9th but before you put your kids on that big yellow bus, you should know that there's more they need besides the basics.
"You want to make sure you remind the kids, when their getting back to school and getting one with the sports, just don't overdue your limits and do a lot of stretching before you start," said Hyden Chiropractor Ben Ische.
A new school year brings with it a new beginning and of course new challenges.
"You have to study more and stuff. Tests are going to be harder you have to study more," said Leslie County High School Freshman Autumn Muccio.
Thanks to the Primary Care Center in Hyden, kids were able to get free physicals, giving the parents one less thing to worry about.
Kids, parents, and teachers are now ready for school.
Parents and teachers main concern of course is kid’s safety, so what they did last year in Leslie County is install a security door buzzer that gives administrators a chance to see exactly who is entering the building.
This was the 4th Annual Back To School Fun Fest sponsored by Primary Care Center.
