An investigation is underway after a local warehouse is vandalized. Many people say this is not just any vandalism and now the community is left wondering who could have done such a hateful thing.

In vandalizing a warehouse of a local businessman in Bell County, it's not what the vandals took, but it's what they left behind.

For fifteen years, Marion Schneider has had no problem on the south side of Middlesboro until recently when police tell Middlesboro Daily News Schneider's warehouse was robbed and vandalized with graffiti. Schneider was unavailable for comment, but his longtime friend says they don't know why this warehouse was targeted.

"I just don't understand why anyone would want to do that to Marion," said Howard Scott.

But somebody did and whoever robbed the warehouse left their mark with sexist and racist messages before they left the area.

If you have any tips you are urged to call the Middlesboro Police Department at 606-248-3636.
