WYMT Severe Weather Alert

We're tracking the possibility of more storms rolling through today, with some of them being strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through this evening. The main threats at this point look to be wind and hail. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as needed.

Mudslide causes car accident, injuring one person

A mudslide causes a car accident injuring at least one person.

The accident happened around seven Friday morning on Highway 699 near Blue Diamond tipple off of Coach Lane in Perry County.

Dispatchers tell us at least one person was transported to the hospital with injuries.
