WYMT Severe Weather Alert

More storms are firing up off to our west and will be moving in our general direction. Most should be below the severe threshold, but some could bring some strong wind and hail. We will be monitoring the system throughout the night and will update you as needed.

Two men killed in Pike County crash

State police are investigating a crash that killed two Pike County men this weekend.

The two vehicles collided on Highway 122 near Shelby Valley Saturday afternoon.

They say 18 year old Justin C. Vanover of Virgie made a left turn into the path of a car driven by 53 year old Douglas Hall.

Police say Hall had no time to react and avoid the collision.

Both men died at the scene.
