WYMT Severe Weather Alert

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for all of Southeastern Kentucky until 10pm tonight. The primary threats from this system will be strong winds and large hail. Isolated tornadic activity certainly can't be ruled out of the equation.

Worker robbed at Somerset restaurant

Police are investigating, after a man robs a woman outside the restaurant where she worked.

Police say the man approached the woman as she was leaving the Sonic Drive-In, on South 27, in Somerset, Friday night.

He stole the night deposit from her, then took off across US 27.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
