Leslie County School Bus Accident Update

Police say the driver whose car hit a Leslie County school bus head on on the first day of school may have been asleep at the wheel.

Police say 21 year old James Cox claims he was on his way home from a long coal mining work shift when he dozed off and crossed the center line, hitting a school bus carrying about 30 children.

Officials say no one was seriously injured in the accident.

Police say Cox had no alcohol or drugs in his system and it's unlikely they'll file charges.
