A southern Kentucky grad jury returns indictments on Monday against a Tennessee man accused of causing a violent chain-reaction crash.
The Whitley County grand jury indicted Raymond Garner on several charges including: two county of capitol murder, fetal homicide, DUI, four counts of assault and operating a motor vehicle on a DUI suspended license. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him.
Police say Garner was drunk when his truck crossed the median on I-75, just south of Williamsburg, and hit three other cars.
An eight-year-old boy and a pregnant woman were killed in the crash. Her unborn child also died.
Garner was driving on a suspended license after a DUI arrest in Clark County in March.
Garner will return to court on November 20th.
