A federal judge reduces the sentences of two former Manchester officials who testified against several other prominent officials charged with vote-buying.
The judge reduced former assistant police chief Todd Robert's sentence from 87 months to 47. he's already served about 40.
Former council member Vernon Hacker's sentence was reduced from 120 months to 76.
The judge says he reduced the sentences mainly because of their cooperation in last month's trial of eight other Clay County residents charged with vote-buying.
They were all convicted.
