Police are not ruling out foul play after a man is found dead in Martin County.

Police say 46 year old Gregory Moore was in his home off route 1714, near Lovely.

His family says he had head injuries.

Detectives are searching through 46 year old Gregory Moore's home, trying to find out to what happened to him.

Family members say Moore's younger brother found him dead, slumped over a desk with head injuries.

“It was pretty heartbreaking,” Arthur E. Moore said.

The father, Arthur Moore, says his youngest son is struggling after finding his brother dead in that condition and the rest of the family is trying to come to grips with the loss.

“It's hard on the family. I thought the world of the boy. I always thought if anybody could be successful in life, that he could be,” Arthur said.

The family says Moore ran a trucking company. Police do not know yet how he died.

“We're not ruling out foul play,’ trooper Mike Goble said.

Police sent his body to Frankfort for an autopsy.

Meanwhile detectives are looking for clues at the scene to try and figure out what happened at the home before he died.

“At this time, during this type of investigation, we're still trying to determine exactly what did occur,” Trooper Goble said.

The family hopes answers come soon and say they will never forget him.

Investigators ask if anyone has any information about what happened to Greg Moore, to call the state police post in Pikeville or the Martin County Sheriff's Department.
