WYMT Severe Weather Alert

We're tracking the possibility of more storms rolling through today, with some of them being strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through this evening. The main threats at this point look to be wind and hail. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as needed.

Kentucky man is arrested in West Virginia

A Pike County man wanted on shoplifting charges is arrested in West Virginia.

Police say James Patton of Warfield allegedly stole a few cleaning supplies from a store in Bridgeport, that's in Mingo County.

Patton was previously wanted in Martin County on a different shoplifting charge.

Patton is currently being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail on several charges.
