Dozens of senior citizens from all over the Big Sandy region competed in several athletic contests Friday.
The indoor Big Sandy Senior Games were held May 14th in Prestonsburg.
Men and women from Pike, Floyd, Johnson, Martin, and Magoffin Counties participated in bowling, billiards, and other events.
The idea is not so much the competition, but for seniors to get exercise and spend time with each other.
The Big Sandy Senior Games outdoor events will be held next week.
