Kentucky Soldier Killed In Non-Combat Incident In Afghanistan

RINEYVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A funeral is set for Saturday for a
central Kentucky soldier who died in a non-combat incident in
Afghanistan.

He's one of two Kentucky soldiers killed in Afghanistan in the
last week.

The military says 43-year-old Sergeant First Class Daniel Miller
of Rineyville died along with a soldier from Iowa when the Humvee
they were riding in flipped Friday.

A Kentucky National Guardsman, 25-year-old Staff Sergeant
Nicholas Carnes of Ludlow, was killed in an attack Sunday in
Afghanistan.

Miller was assigned to the Army's First Brigade, First Infantry
Division, at Fort Riley, Kansas.

His funeral will be Saturday in Radcliff.
