Grand Jury Decides Not To Indict Man In Connection With Deadly Accident

A grand jury decides not to indict a man in connection with a traffic accident that killed two teens.

Marinda Perry and Kristi Blevins, both 17, died in an April accident on Kentucky 2565 in Lawrence County. Their vehicle was hit head on by another car driven by James Preece of Louisa. Police say while there was small quantities of prescription drugs in Preece's system, there was no evidence he was impaired by them.

Police say there's conclusive evidence that Preece had a heart attack around the time of the crash as Preece had claimed.
