Parts Of Pulaski County Dealing With Water Problems

Some people in Pulaski County are learning to do without water for hours and sometimes even days at a time.

The problems are in the western part of the county near Nancy. People say they'll lose water without notice and some say nothing will come out of the faucets for days at a time. Officials say the problem is that the water main that feeds western Pulaski County isn't big enough to keep up with demand.

"Well they tell me we use too much water and then they tell me the water line is too small to keep the water pumped in here," said Nellie Molen of Faubush.

Pulaski County officials say a project to build a larger water main should be finished by the end of this year.
