Walkers this weekend helped raise more money in the fight against cancer.
Hundreds of people on 24 teams were in Perry County Park this weekend for the county's Relay for Life. There were games, a raffle, a golf ball drop from a helicopter, and of course people walking the track all day and night.
Co-chairman Bob Turner says events like this are what keep cancer survivors alive.
"A lot of people are still here because of events. We're hoping that we can do more and more each year, and maybe one of these days there'll be a cure," Turner said.
The Perry County Relay raised about $90,000, but officials expect the final total to be more than $100,000.
