Eleven Property Valuation Administrators will be reinstated following a ruling by the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
All eleven, including Laurel County PVA Joyce Garland Parker, are charged with hiring family members to work for or promote the PVA office, which is a violation of the state's ethics code.
Parker is charged with hiring her daughter on two different occasions, once as a seasonal employee during 2006 and as a full-time employee in January 2007.
Other PVA's facing the ethics violation are from Clay, Oldham, Leslie, Taylor, Hart, Barren, Powell, Harlan, Grayson and Fayette Counties.
