WYMT's Annual blood drive was held on July 1st at the station.
Members of the blood center staff say they're encouraging everyone to come out and donate.
The Kentucky Blood Center Bloodmobile is making its annual stops around various parts of central and eastern Kentucky.
One of their stops included WYMT.
The staff says the need for blood is always great, but in the summer time the need is even more.
Some of the people that came to WYMT have been donating for years.
They say they do it for their kids, families and grand kids.
“In case one of them needs blood I know there is some out there that is clean and health for them,” James Walker said.
Blood center officials say 15 donors stopped by our blood drive.
