Constable pleads guilty to doctor shopping

A Johnson County Constable pleads guilty to doctor shopping drug charges.

Terry Eugene Ward was arrested in April after the attorney general's office accused him of illegally obtaining HydroCodone from several doctors in the area.

Court officials say that on Friday morning, Ward pleaded guilty to four charges of doctor shopping.

The commonwealth's attorney recommended a three year sentence or drug rehab and requests Ward be banned from holding public office.

A judge will sentence him on July 16th.
