An problem with phone lines made it difficult for people living in one Southern Kentucky county to get through to 911 Monday.
Phone lines went dead around nine Monday morning in Whitley County.
Anyone who dialed 911 had their call routed to Corbin Police, who then contacted Whitley County to have the call dispatched.
It took several hours to repair, due to the holiday.
All phone lines have since been restored.
