Two injured in weekend motorcycle accidents

Two men are injured Saturday in separate motorcycle crashes.

Both accidents happened in Harlan County.

19-year-old Matthew Rainey was hurt when he lost control of his motorcycle on Kentucky 3455.

Kentucky State Police say Rainey hit a guardrail and was thrown from the motorcycle.

He was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center in Tennessee and is listed in stable condition.

In the second accident, police say 22-year-old Johnathan Lundy ran off the road, struck a fence and was thrown from the motorcycle.

He was not wearing a helmet.

He was flown to Harlan ARH with non-life threatening head injuries.
