A Tennessee family is searching for answers after a deadly hit and run accident that claimed the life of their husband and father.

Investigators say 47-year-old Robert Luther, who was from Dandrige, Tennessee, was standing near his broken down truck in Rowan County when a semi truck hit and killed him in late May.

He was returning home from his son's high school graduation.

The Morehead News reports Luther's family is in Morehead this week to put up fliers to generate leads.

Police analyzed part of a light that was found at the scene and determined it was from a semi made in New York
