While many folks can stay indoors, some people do have to work outside in this heat.

Those in the roofing business have to work in triple degree temperatures. It's a tough job, but someone's got to sweat it.

"We wear cool clothes and start early... enough where you can try to beat it. I know we can't beat it... but we got to deal with it everyday," said Pat Howerton, with Pat Howerton Roofing.

People that work at the dry cleaners also have to work with the heat.

Typically these businesses do not have air conditioners and employees have to work next to steamers.

"We keep water and drinks in the fridge and let them take plenty of breaks. We don't want anyone getting sick or having to go to the hospital," said Bill Johnson with Sharp's Cleaners.
