Kentucky Supreme Court Asked To Reconsider Decision Stopping Baze Execution

Prosecutors are asking the Kentucky Supreme Court to reconsider its decision to stop the execution of a convicted killer.

The State Supreme Court stopped the execution of convicted killer Ralph Baze earlier this week.

Baze was sentenced 14 years ago for the 1992 murders of Powell County Sheriff Steve Bennett and Deputy Arthur Briscoe.

The justices are looking at whether his trial was properly moved from Powell to Rowan County. It's at least the second time the courts have stepped in to keep him alive.
