Former Williamsburg police officer pleads guilty to several charges

A former Williamsburg police officer admits he was involved in the burglary of a pharmacy.

32-year-old Brad Nighbert pleaded guilty to the charges of conspiracy to distribute Oxycodone and conspiracy to burglarize a pharmacy.

Nighbert allegedly broke into a Williamsburg pharmacy and participated in a long term prescription pill trafficking conspiracy.

Nighbert also admitted driving to Detroit, Michigan multiple times to get Oxycontin pills to distribute in Whitley County.

He faces up to 20 years in prison for the drug conspiracy charge and a maximum of ten years for the burglary charge.
